Language requirements

All applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by submitting test results from one of the following tests:

Notes:

If your score is lower than the scores mentioned above, you will not be eligible for the programme.

Language certificates may not be more than 2 years old

Any other English test than TOEFL, Cambridge C1/C2, or IELTS is not considered as valid by the ReD Global Programme Examination Committee.

Only for non-scholarship students: If your test results are not yet available at the time of application, please provide the expected date you will have the test results. You cannot be fully admitted to the programme until you meet the language requirements.

 

Exemptions:

Only in the following cases exemptions for the English language requirements are possible:

You have a Dutch VWO certificate;

You are a native speaker and have completed your full secondary education in one of the following countries:  the USA, Canada (only when taught in English), the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand;

You have completed a full-time Bachelor’s programme (nominal duration of at least three years) in the USA, Canada (only when taught in English), the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.

 

Important:

If English was the medium of instruction during your previous education, but you do not meet any of the above mentioned requirements, you are still required to provide proof of your English language proficiency.

ReD Global receives many applications from all over the world; we are forced to be strict in assessing language proficiency. Please ensure that you comply with these guidelines in your submitted application.
