The ReD Global Presidency resides at the Faculty of Religion, Culture and Society of the Coordinating Institution, being the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

What is the Presidency?

The University of Groningen has a dual role in ReD Global:

  1. UG is the ReD Global Coordinator, and in that capacity is legally and financially responsible for project implementation towards the European Commission (EACEA)
  2. UG is one of the Full Partners in ReD Global, and as such, responsible for the joint implementation of the ReD Global curriculum

In ReD Global, we have divided those two responsibilities, with the Presidency being responsible for overall management and direct communication with the EACEA.

Who are we?

The Presidency consists of:

  • The ReD Global President, represented by prof. dr. Lautaro Roig Lanzillotta
  • The ReD Global Secretariat, represented by a dedicated Project Manager.

The Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day management of ReD Global, and in particular project implementation in close collaboration with the institutional Directors of Study and Course Managers, as members of the Programme Management & Quality Committee

At least twice a year, the Presidency will consult with a dedicated Financial Advisor at UG to review the project’s financial transparency and sustainability.
